Although visually captivating at first glance, the campaign’s unabashed desecration of historic architecture in the name of commerce leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. The title “The New Audi Spectacle” takes on a whole new meaning, no?

Just ahead of the Paris Motor Show, which runs Oct. 2 -17, small car rivals Mini (owned by BMW) and Smart (owned by Daimler) have unveiled new electric scooter prototypes, the Mini Scooter E and Smart escooter. Both lithium-ion powered designs plug into a standard household electrical outlet, offer a variety of safety features not typically found on a two-seater (airbag, ABS, Blind Spot Assist) and use a smartphone for a key and instrument display panel.

The Seabreacher X: admit it, you'd soil yourself if this came at you.
If you saw this thing on your neighbor’s trailer, you’d laugh at him. “What sort of pretentious man-child buys a boat shaped like a shark,” you’d scoff into your mugaccino, secure in the knowledge that you’d never shell out for something so ridiculous.
But you might change your tune if you caught him down at the lake and watched him pulling 50mph (80km/h) barrel rolls, then diving under the surface and launching the thing 12-feet (3.6m) into the air like some sort of evil mechanical dolphin.

The motorcycling world loves a ‘barn find’—an old, obscure machine wheeled out of the woodwork for the first time. And this is one of the biggest revelations of recent months. It’s a 1930 Henderson that was customized before WW2 by a fellow called O. Ray Courtney and fitted with ‘streamliner’ bodywork.

Danish bicycle company Biomega and design collective KiBiSi have collaborated to create this new bike for sports brand Puma. The PUMA Mopion Bike has a metal rack attached to the front of the frame for carrying baggage.
